Upright Citizens Brigade

The Upright Citizens Brigade is Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh. The 'UCB4' produced their own sketch show, 'Upright Citizens Brigade,' for three seasons on Comedy Central from 1998-2000. During the success of the TV show, UCB opened the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and Improvisational and Sketch Comedy Training Center in New York City. In 2005, UCB expanded and opened the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Los Angeles and began offering UCB Training Center classes on the west coast.

Hollywood Improv

Shows typically consist of a host, a feature performer, and a headliner. The show runs approximately ninety minutes; but are not held to a time limit, so come to the club ready to laugh and have a good time!

Flappers Comedy Club

In Sept of 2008 we created Flappers Comedy LLC, for the purpose of creating a comedy club venue that would provide world class comedy and food, offer comedy workshops.

The Comedy & Magic Club

The one and only Comedy & Magic Club that has been a part of the Hermosa Beach

Laugh Factory

Opening its doors in 1979, the World Famous Laugh Factory has been recognized as "the #1 comedy club in the country" by such high-profile media as USA Today. With southern California locations in Hollywood (its original Sunset Boulevard locale) and Long Beach (opened in 2008), comedy's top stars, as well as today's brightest emerging talent, shine on its legendary stage.

The Second City

The Second City is an improvisational comedy enterprise, best known as the first ever on-going improvisational theater troupe based in Chicago. It also has programs that run out of Toronto and Los Angeles. The Second City Theatre opened on December 16, 1959, and has since become one of the most influential and prolific comedy theatres in the world.

ACME Comedy Theatre

The ACME Comedy Theatre is a sketch comedy and improvisational theater. ACME was started by M.D. Sweeney as "The Two Roads Theater" in Studio City in 1989 with Cynthia Szigeti. The players known as the Two Roads Players and later the Tujunga Group. Sweeney changed the name to Acme a few years later, a reference to Warner Brothers cartoons.
